Felippo and Felippe are two brothers, but far from twins.
Felippo is a hooligan and always on the look out for trouble. Felippe, on the other hand, is always looking… always looking!

Felippo is sulky whereas Felippe is always cheerful.
Felippo is sad, he eats black paper and bad news, whereas Felippe lives in the clouds and above the clouds the sun always shines.

They look towards the sea of the world. They look afar, they look out. Beyond windows, beyond doors. Outside all limits. They are oriented to that which we do not know. They observe us. They protect us. They bring serenity, but at the same time induce fear. Mata Ki and Te Rangi, literally “eyes to the sky”, are based on Mohai from Easter Island, a combination between antique figures and robotic minimalist lines. They love tranquillity, sleeping only when filled with white stones, and they never lose sight of the sky. Never.

Mata Ki and Te Rangi, like fragments of earth, are made of ceramic.

It’s not a background ornament and it’s not a circumstance! Vago and Vaghetto are elements with simple line, made in light aluminium which is lacquered white internally and in four different colours externally. Vago and Vaghetto travel in pair, because space, life and things change, they grow and in life… you just never know.

It was late, we were tired, and so we asked the little Momo a favour: “You couldn’t keep our regrets and bad thoughts for us, could you?” and he seemed to smile at the idea. “Write whatever comes to your mind and I’ll keep it for you!”. To the large Momo, on the other hand, we said, slightly arrogantly, “Hey you! Seeing as you are the oldest and biggest, take all the nice things, the dreams we’d like to realise, the nicest memories and keep them in a safe place so that our memories never fail us”. That’s how the Momos were created, from a simple thought. For many they will simply be two crushed, coloured, steel balls, but for us the Momos are the Momos, an occasion to dream.

I brush the table with a hand. There’s no dust, there’s no air. Outside the rain that slides down the gutter, the wind that moves the trees that surround my house. I get up and with a small gesture I move the light organza curtain and I look out towards the street. The leaves fall diagonally, they slice the image and the garden, alone, seems to live through a short small storm. My house is outside. I no longer know where I am.

When you throw your heart up high and it never seems to fall. When you climb the stairs and you turn round all of a sudden. Everything seems to lose form and weight. It’s nice to think of the Hoppe Làe in this way. Like three little leaps towards the sky, like the first game as a child, the most simple. We have created these three vases to be light in line and simple in colour, because sometimes… a little is enough!

The small ‘Secret’ vases are created by a process of turning manually, and every so often the circular lines that give them their character seem to hide and protect small truths: the passing of time, life that grows, things that are lost then found again. We did not use old vinyl discs for this product but varnished aluminium.
